At UNITEC, students pursue technical/vocational, undergraduate and graduate degrees in business, communications, engineering and information technology. Students also may enroll in dual-degree programs with Laureate International Universities partner institutions, including the Institute for Executive Development. The dual-degree programs include an MBA and a master’s in finance and international marketing.

UNITEC is accredited by the Association of Private Universities and the Latin American Network of University Cooperation.

The Honduran Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility (FUNDAHRSE) has recognized UNITEC as a socially responsible institution. UNITEC also participates in the YouthActionNet® Central America Premio Yo Emprendo/I Initiate program, in collaboration with the International Youth Foundation, the Sylvan/Laureate Foundation and Universidad Latina de Costa Rica.

Unimer Research International ranks Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana as the most prestigious private university in Honduras. The university earned the Mondialogo Award from Chrysler and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. The Central American Agency for Accreditation of Architecture and Engineering Programs and the World Tourism Organization have accredited UNITEC, and the school is certified ISO 9001:2008.
